Vacation House

When I was in my younger days, I used to dream a lot and one of which is to have a vacation house. I remembered my family used to travel to Bohol (one of the beautiful places in the Philippines) during holidays and spent time with our relatives. One night, I stayed outside of the house sitting on the rock enjoying the cool breeze of the night while viewing the beautiful landscape facing the ocean.  An idea pop up in my mind saying “what if I build a vacation house in this place with a swimming pool”.  This could be the best place where my family and relatives could have fun and share quality time together. . It was really fun thinking of that dream. Of course, it ended up with a smile while walking back home for a dinner.

I am now in my thirties and I’ll keep on dreaming again and again.  I don’t mind when such dream would be realized as I believed that dream is a God’s blessing and seedlings of our reality.

To keep visualizing my dream house, I sketch a design of a house which for me suitable to my dream vacation house. Below is the perspective of the vacation house.

I think those series of day dreaming I had at a young age was never been a waste of time. In fact it was a visual aid to what I really want to have in the near future.

Friends, I am not an expert, but I believe that it is indeed necessary for all of us, both young and old to keep dreaming, believing in our dream, and put our dream into action.

I even start to understand that every great leader and successful people from the dawn of civilization down to the present was a dreamer who puts their dreams into action.

Let us not forget, Columbus who dreamed of an unknown world staked his life on the existence of such a world, and discovered it. Henry Ford, a poor and uneducated, dreamed of a horseless carriage, went to work with what tools he possessed, without waiting for opportunity to favor him, and now evidence of his dream belts the entire earth. Thomas Edison dreamed of a lamp that could be operated by electricity, began where he stood to put his dream into action and despite more than ten thousand failures, he stood by that dream until he made it a physical reality. The Wright brothers dreamed of a machine that would fly through the air. Now one may see evidence all over the world that they dreamed soundly. Practical dreamers do not quit.

“The greatest achievements were, at first and for a time, but a dream.”

So long fellows, together we say it out loud with conviction,

In God’s name I will live my dreams.

Modern Living Room

In Western architecture, a living room or lounge room  is a room in a residential house for relaxing and socializing. Such a room is sometimes called a front room when it is near the main entrance at the front of the house. The term sitting room is sometimes used synonymously with living room, although a sitting room may also occur in a hotel or other public building. The term living room was coined in the late 18th or early 19th century.

A typical Western living room may contain such a sofa, chairs, occasional tables, and bookshelves, electric lamps, rugs, or other furniture. Traditionally, a sitting room in the United Kingdom and New Zealand has a fireplace. In a Japanese sitting room, called a washitsu, the floor is covered with tatami, sectioned mats on which people can sit comfortably.

In larger homes in the United States and Canada, the living room may be reserved for more formal and quiet entertaining, while a separate room—such as a den, family room, or recreation room is used for leisure and informal entertainment. A great room combines the functions of one or more of these rooms.

As we all know that living room is considered as one of the most important rooms in the entire house. It is not just a place for relaxation that welcomes guest and visitors but it also serves as the focal point and acts as the showcase of the house that brings comfort and joy to all members of the house.

I think every homeowner should take good care of how this room will look like by creating something that will perfectly reflect the owners personality and style. There are so many styles that we can choose from, we can even browse the net of styles that we want it could be classic, country, contemporary or modern style with those clean lines.

Personally, as you can see in my design I love modern design. I always wanted to have my own modern living room that is why I design one. The modern living rooms of today have surpassed expectations of the sci-fi movies of yesterday. The rooms now not just provide relaxation and entertainment but exhibit an elegance and finesse that provides pure viewing pleasure.

For those of you who are looking for an inspiration of modern living room in the Philippines here's my simple modern living room design that might inspire you or something of that nature.

Here's another view of this modern living room....

Friends, this might not be the very best online interior design you can see in the Philippines but for me it doesn't matter. Folks, Every house is a dream come true. First it starts in our thoughts, in our mind, or in our dreams, then it manifest. Now folks, are you living your dream house? The answer lies deep with in you. Keep believing in your dreams. Keep dreaming, because our dreams are the seedling of our reality.

Remember this verse from the Holy book my dear friends,

Living - Dining Room

Hi there! Allow me to share some interior design today. I call it living - dining room. Although, it is really not my design. It is the design of my colleague in the office. My participation in this project was to make the 3d visualization. This apartment interior design is supposed to be build somewhere in Europe, but you can used this as well as your interior design concept in the Philippines.

As you have noticed the design of this interior living- dining room is modern and international. I mean you can used this design concept where ever you maybe. Nowadays, designers all over the world have something in common. Through the help of the internet architects and interior designers learned from each other in just a click away from their computer.

By the way here's the 3d visualization that I make for this living- dining interior design, hope you will like it.

Again, this might neither be the very best house design nor the best online interior design you can see in the Philippines but if you could only borrow the eyes of the owner, you will see what we are talking about Folks, Every house is a dream come true. First it starts in our thoughts, in our mind, or in our dreams, then it manifest. Now folks, are you living your dream house? The answer lies deep with in you. Keep believing in your dreams. Two-Storey House In Cebu

I know, I know, and I know! This two-story house looks familiar to you, isn’t it? If you happen to see my old blog entitled two-storey house you might had seen this before. Well, you are right and I’m sorry for that. I decide to post this two-story house again because this is my latest project. The only difference is the location for this house to be built. This time this two-storey house in God’s grace will be built soon in the island of Cebu, Philippines particularly in Talisay City, although, the owner is still looking for a perfect lot and location for this house.

You know what guys; I was amazed by the dreams and desire of this owner to build his dream house. Although they already own a house in Cebu, Philippines but it’s not the house of his dream. One day while he was browsing the internet he was able to drop by at this blogsite of mine. In his own word he says “I was mesmerized by your dream house design”. By that moment on he sends me right away an email asking for more details. To make the story short we are already in the middle of our deal to finish it. Not only that, I was also amazed, knowing that he still did not have a land to build with. He decides first what his dream house will look like and then look for that perfect lot of his dream house. Wow!!! Can you believe that? Normally, we buy first a land and then we look for an architect to design our dream house, right? But this owner does the exact opposite. He does the other way around. Isn’t it great and amazing?

You may ask me, is it possible architect? Of course! It is. With God all things are possible. You only need to believe it. For this, I salute you both Sir and Ma’am. I will pray that soon you can find the perfect lot and location for your dream house. I will also pray that God will bless you more financially and physically so that you can build this dream house of yours. In God’s name you will live your dream house.

Here’s the front view…

Again, this might neither be your very best house design nor the best architectural design online or the best online interior design you can see in the world or in the Philippines but if you could only borrow the eyes of the owner, you will see what we are talking about.. The Master's Bedroom

Don’t you wish you can have your own master’s bedroom? Every homeowner wants to have their own master’s bedroom, Right? We even wish that our own bedroom will have a cozy environment, a place not only to sleep but a place as well for our own personal activity like playing a guitar, reading a magazine or even watching television or a movie perhaps.

But, what is a master’s bedroom? Basically it is the main bedroom of the house the one with an enormous bathroom with matching bath tub or Jacuzzi and walk-in closets for both husband and wife. Before we complicate this room let us first remember the purpose of a bedroom. The very basic purpose of a bedroom is to have a room to sleep. We all know that, right?  But as time passes we need more than that. We add with stuff that reflects our own personality. We add sofa, flat screen television set, magazine stand, music instrument and even a showcase divider.

Actually, I am describing a master’s bedroom that I want. That is why I imagine my own master’s bedroom and decided to design it even if I am not a license interior designer. I am only an architect and an interior designer wannabe (hahahaha). I think the law neither prohibit nor deprive us to design our own master’s bedroom since we are living in a democracy, right? So, allow me to share my own simple design of master’s bedroom. Here it is….

By the way, Merry Christmas to all of you and advance happy new prosperous 2012 year!!! I have a  special treat to all of you today. I made a special scene in these master's bedroom in celebration of this Christmas season. I hope you will like it as much as I do. Drum roll please....

Three-Storey House

Good morning fellows! Here's the latest dream house I design.
(The Sun of opportunity never sets, that is why it is always Good Morning!)

Hi there! It's me again, doing the things that I love. You know already, right? Of course designing your dream house.  Anyway, I love to share with you today my latest dream house that I design. It's a three story house. Actually it's really not a three story since the third floor only covers 50 percent of the area of the second floor, but just allow me to call it three story since it looks like one, right?

It has a four bedroom on the second floor and two car garage in the ground floor plus the common area like living, dining, kitchen and maid's room in the ground floor as well. It has also a swimming pool at the back of the house but I won't show it this time the swimming pool area. (I will show that in my next post, so stay tune fellows).

And, Here's the first scheme that I did. (Actually I did a three option on these one.) I will let you be the judge, okay?

And here's the third option...

To be honest,  I am not really sure about this third one,  as you can see there's a lot of color combination, right? It's really not my kind of tea, I mean it's not my usual concept, but as they say that sometimes in our life we have to push our limits or shall I say I had to try to design beyond my comfort zone. I hope, I am doing it right. Anyway, I commission you to be the judge. Please give me your thoughts on these.
I will really appreciate your thoughts  and comments. Again please leave your  comments below...
